Vintage Bentleys For Sale!
Uniquely, Stanley Mann Racing deals exclusively with Vintage Bentleys and has being doing so for over thirty years. The experience amassed over this period is unrivalled by any other Bentley specialist and our sales facilities are supported by a fully equipped workshop manned by qualified and race-proven mechanics. The enthusiasm shown by the small and dedicated staff is totally infectious, as will be proved by a short visit to the 'Fruit Farm' where the world renowned coffee (or tea) can be sampled at leisure. We take great pride in our facilities and welcome the opportunity to show prospective customers around in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere away from the crowd. No pressure is attached and we are quite content to discuss our favourite subject with like-minded enthusiasts; time permitting!
Unlike many other vintage specialists we campaign our cars regularly on circuits both here and on the continent and the expertise gained from this experience has proved of immense value in the type of service we can offer our customers. We strongly feel that the type of cars we sell should be driven fast, as was the original intention, a sentiment we are confident 'WO' would be proud of!
We can offer a full and comprehensive service ranging from overseeing a total rebuild, through car sales and valuations to general advice on anything connected with the vintage Bentley. We can even offer a range of T-shirts with appropriate Stanley Mann Racing insignia to the more fashionably-orientated customers.
Finally, we accept all major credit cards and have the facility to arrange finance.

Motorsport
Stanley Mann, leading Vintage Bentley Specialist, has been a regular and successful competitor in vintage and historic racing events since the mid 70's, almost exclusively driving his vintage Bentleys.
He presently races a Bentley which is fitted with a highly tuned (1929) 8-litre engine with a top speed in excess of 150mph and regularly competes both here in the UK and on the continent with this car.
From time to time Stanley also shares the vintage Bentley 6.5 litre single seater Brooklands track car know as "Mother Gun" (The Bentley Jackson). In 1992 this car, under the auspices of Stanley Mann, racing and driven by HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Vaughan Davis, Stanley Mann and Philip Greenwood, took the 1000 miles standing start record in UK class 'B' at 104.49mph. This also raised a considerable sum of money for 'The Brooklands Museum Trust'.
In doing so, an official record was secured, in that this was the first time in motor racing history that a Member of the British Royal Family had taken part in a speed record attempt.
Other records secured by Stanley Mann on the banked track at Millbrook driving his 1929 8 litre Bentley, included a 5 km record in 1989, which would have bettered Sir Henry (Tim) Birkin's Brooklands lap record speed of 135.34mph in (1930) driving what at the that time would have been a new racing car. Back at Millbrook in 1996 Stanley achieved as unofficial speed of 137mph in Mother Gunn and 152mph in his 8 litre Special. After After consultation with the RAC Timekeeper this was duly recorded as 148mph because most of the wheels at the time were off the ground!
By continuing in historic racing and his deep dedication, Stanley Mann has made a very individual and significant contribution to the best traditions of British Motor Sport.
